I think that happened to me too leaving work on Monday (at home I have an unheated garage but at work park outside). Unfortunately for me halfway to work on Monday the "Service Required" for the AWC came on and hasn't stopped yet. Fingers crossed that the warm spell starting tomorrow resolves it. Otherwise I will not be happy having to have that fixed. Driving today accelerating a little spirited getting on the highway made the car feel squirrelly and quite frankly a little scary as the car doesn't feel planted anymore.

You have 8's in that thing? Isn't it mostly stock yet? Those are too cold of plug IMO. I would just run 6's or 7's year round.

My damn stock 2000 Galant on pump gas wouldn't start a couple days ago, but I know the battery on it isn't the best currently. And getting my diesel van to do anything even with 2 newish batteries hasn't been fun.

Eh, it's less stock now. I'm maxing out the 8 turbo with the big hot side. I don't disagree with you though, 7's would be fine. When I needed plugs they just had 8's in stock.

I dont even attempt to drive the VIII when its below 30 degrees. E85 and mini battery =

The IX on the other hand is on a pump gas tune from that wonderful tuna named tscomp and starts right up in the cold even with the mini battery. So I consider myself lucky

I have a mini battery and it does fine until it's in the teens or below and the car sits outside for a while. I carry a jump pack with me, which I had to use on NYE night because I killed the car at a stop light before it was warmed up and it wouldn't turn over.

This. I bought one during black friday and its a life saver. Much better than starting another car and using jumper cables for the 1 min you need it. But I do carry a set of cables with me in case I would need a jump

I have a Shane tune as well and my car started @ -15 or whatever it was a couple weeks ago after sitting outside at work for 8-9hrs. Couldn't be happier with his tune!
